Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"The food is almost as good as that from the old Organic Cafe & Macrobiotic Grocery, which Manzanita displaced. Friendly service, big portions. I gave it only 4 out of 5 stars because the food quality is inconsistent. Sometimes it is absolutely superb. Other times is tastes like the produce isn't fresh, or the rice is hard and/or pasty.
