Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"Nice vegan friendly Mexican food in a pleasant environment. Most items on the menu can be made vegan; some are already vegan. (There is a $3 charge for vegan meat substitute on meaty menu items such as Chicken Chile Verde.) Indoor and outdoor seating available."
