Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"We stopped going to Herbivore because the service was so poor (and rude!) and the food not that great, but friends convinced us to try again, and they are right-things have improved! Nice, friendly service (not fast, but not bad) and really yummy food! All three of us loved our entrees. Excellent portions. "Chicken" Schwarma ++"
