Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"We celebrated my husband's birthday at Millenium during their monthly Aphrodisiac night. We agree it was the best meal we have ever eaten. Each morsel was euphoric! Service was wonderful. While making the reservation I mentioned that it would be my husband's birthday. Our waitress brought the dessert with a birthday candle in it! Even though we live in Canada we will be back someday..."
