Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"I've had bad experiences at Malabar since it moved. They were out of my fav dish (Tempeh Goreng) once and they made the peanut sauce 4x as spicy as usual another time. I still love the food (usually). Try the Raw Chocolate drink, but ask for no honey! It's divine. I went on "set menu Sunday" and it was weird, but good. However, the check came blank. We were told to "pay what we think is fair." "
