Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"The atmosphere is funky but the food is great. It's not cheap, but I don't find that surprising. There seems to be a lot of labor going into the food prep. The service is not formal, but I didn't encounter any rudeness on two visits to this location."
