Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"I can't say enough about this wonderful little restaurant! We really need to talk it up and patronize it much more. We live in Cupertino, so we go there about twice a week. Everytime we're there, it's almost empty! This is a terrible shame! They have such wonderfully delicious dishes, some vegan, some not. Please tell your friends and let's keep this gem in business! The food is excellent!"
