Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"The soup was delicious, the pumpkin ravioli wholesome and pleasant, but overpriced for what it was. The tofu scramble brunch was also pleasant (but not special) and fairly priced. Decor is trendy and overdone, but service is friendly. The Castro is surprisingly not vegan- or organic-friendly, so I encourage people to support them so they will further develop and promote their vegan menu."
