Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"This is a great restaurant if you are in Marin and want a mixed veg*n/not meal. The place is small and not fancy, but the food is tasty and healthy.
Vegans should be aware of the yogurt. Because they are apparently not vegans they may add it on top of your dish like they did to me, even though it is not listed on the menu. They were gracious about remaking my dish and next time I will ask."
