Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"OMG, this was some of the best Indian food I've ever had. I was going to Herbivore, like I almost always do in that part of town, and I saw "Top Restaurant of 2006." Ventured in and the gave me cool spreadsheet of what had wheat - dairy - meat in it. I've never seen anything like it. A must visit!"
