Bay Area Vegetarians (BAVeg) is a San Francisco Bay Area wide group for vegan, vegetarian and animal rights folks to connect and find support with like-minded folks. We invite you to be an active part of our community.
We're open to new leaders and volunteers to help us promote compassion to animals and veganism. If you've got a wonderful idea, we want to hear from you! Don't be shy, and don't worry if you've never done it before, as that's true for many of us.
We are a 100% volunteer, no fees, plant-powered organization with over 4,000 members throughout the Bay Area and beyond.

"Run don't walk to this vegan friendly place! They have dozens of veg and vegan options. We had the vegan rueben and the portabello sandwhich...there were lots of great options so it was hard to choose--they have wraps, sandwhiches, burritos, pastas, you name it. Fantastic, friendly service, great food, and close to 101---it's worth the trip!"
